In the event of a payment failure, you will receive an email notification detailing the reason for the failure given to Currencycloud by the beneficiary bank.
- Submission of incorrect beneficiary details, such as the account number or beneficiary name
- Sending the wrong currency
- The beneficiary account being closed
For further information regarding the returned reason, we advise you to contact the beneficiary bank directly. We are unlikely to be able to provide additional insight into why the beneficiary bank rejected the payment beyond the information provided in the notification email.
