What are the default limits?
Default limits are applied to set the maximum and minimum amount of currency that a client can buy or sell at any given time. The limits apply to both spot and forward transactions. The current default limit for each client is 500,000 GBP. The minimum default limit is 1 GBP.
Can I request a limit change for all currencies?
You can make a request for all currencies apart from the APAC restricted currencies - Indian Rupee (INR), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and Philippine Peso (PHP).
How can I request a limit increase?
You can request a limit increase by following these steps below in Currencycloud Direct.
1. Log into the platform and click on the 'Get in Touch' option on the left-hand side menu bar.
2. From the selection of options that appear, choose 'Manage My Account'.
3. On the 'Manage My Account' menu, click on 'Type of Account Request' and scroll to choose 'Request Risk Limit Change'.
4. Enter your new limit requirements and then click 'Send'.
The request will be reviewed and you will receive a response as soon as possible. Once you have confirmation of the ticket number, please share it with your Customer Success Manager for follow-up.
